Mechanical Assembler

Sweeprite, a division of Merit Manufacturing has been building road sweeping machine since 1978. Merit Manufacturing was founded in 2005 offering laser cutting and metal forming services to clients across South Wester Ontario and Quebec. Sweeprite division was founded in Regina Saskatchewan and move to Breslau, Ontario in 2018.

Sweeprite is known through out the road sweeping industry for its many innovations and the quality of its products.

**Responsibilities for Mechanical Assembler**
- Read the schematics for your machine component
- Assemble your component
- Work with other assemblers to create a final product
- Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality
- Log your productivity

**Requirements for Mechanical Assembler**
- Secondary School Graduation Certificate
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience working with large machinery
- Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
- Able to read blueprints
- Specific skills: Operate Fork Lift
- Transportation: Own Transportation

**Work Condition and Physical Requirements**:
Fast Paced Environment, Attention to detail, Physically Demanding, Extended Periods of Standing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Breslau, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Assembly: 2 years (preferred)
