The Agency currently has several opportunities for Switchboard Receptionists available within the Regional Administrative Team.
- One temporary full-time (12-month contract, 35.25 hours per week). The primary location for this position is at the Family Centre with possible movement throughout the Agency’s main reception areas as needed.
- Multiple Casual roles. These roles will cover on an as-needed basis to all locations, including Kitchener, Cambridge, and the Family Centre.
Responsibilities are to provide switchboard/reception duties, which includes answering, screening, and directing incoming calls; welcoming clients/individuals to the agency; providing administrative and minor technological support to the Family Centre partners, and filing, photocopying and other administrative support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Secondary School Graduation Diploma with demonstrated experience in reception and operating a switchboard.
- Demonstrated skills in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Courteous and efficient with an ability to interact effectively with agency staff, foster parents, volunteers, clients, and other members of the community.
- Ability to handle conflicting situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner.
Salary Range:
$23.5840- $28.4298 per hour
