In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your Role and Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will be assigned to various projects and will be required to design, implement, and execute data security and privacy controls in accordance with IBM Americas DS&P Framework.
- You will have required reading and attestation of security policies and DS&P Framework and will be required to pass an internal DS&P Exam to test the knowledge of the framework
- Includes planning and execution of applicable controls based on contracts
- Will be required to effectively communicate and defend control posture to project executive/project manager and project management team, as well as work with the project team’s technical lead and team to understand and document access profiles for project resources
- You will be responsible for authoring and updating data security plan and all process documents - on/off board process, access management process, workplace inspection processes, and work with the project team to obtain and maintain an audit ready posture and respond to internal risk reassessments with the required control documentation and evidence
- You will bring expertise in security to the project to assure controls are well designed and executed to reduce the overall risk to IBM
- Identify, document, and manage project risks and security control gaps
- Execute projects related to data privacy gap assessments/Audits, building strategies, frameworks, solution designs, and implementation related to data privacy and protection
- Schedule and facilitate monthly data security management meetings; seek and obtain project manager and management approvals
- Adhere to project management guidelines
- Adhere to the firm’s risk management guidelines
- Respond to internal and client audit requests and provide control execution evidence as required
- Engage with projects as a “perform resource” for project duration
- Work with PM to attend and complete Risk Assessments
- Review and understand project scope to identify client and regulatory requirements
- Identify, design, and implement foundational, client, and regulatory controls by developing detailed processes and procedures based on most current Data Security & Privacy framework requirements
- Document and maintain Risk Logs and Incident Management Logs and ensure project leadership review
- Work with project team to effectively execute controls per timing in Framework
- Represent project teams while reporting on and performing Incident management
- Perform continuous monitoring for compliance
- Drive any gap remediation activities
- Coordinate execution of end-of-project security activities
- Other duties as assigned (education/training, contributions to the practice, etc.
- Must have secret security clearance in hand.
