Jr. Videographer

We are looking for an organized and creative jr. videographer to help out on live event broadcasts and assisting on set of commercial productions. The position will be casual on an as-needed basis but we are ideally looking to hire for the mid to long-term.

Surf and Stone Studios is a rapidly growing video marketing company in Victoria BC. Our aim is to help our clients grow through the use of video and we offer a range of services that include: full service video production, live broadcasts and streaming, and post-production. We have worked on a variety of marketing campaigns with clients that range from local businesses to national brands.

Responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in set up and take down of cameras and audio equipment for live event broadcasts and streams.
- Operating cameras during live broadcasts and streams.
- Assist with set up and take down on commercial productions.
- Assist on set with various production assistant responsibilities.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Teamwork.
- Reliability.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Videography or photography experience.

Nice to haves:

- Experience working with Blackmagic Cinema Cameras.
- Experience handling live audio.
- Familiarity with Adobe suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
