Southwest Homes, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, is hiring Part Time and Casual Direct Support Professionals for our Adult Group Home and/or Community Programs. We’re looking for kind, capable people who want to help build a community where all people are valued and treated with respect, dignity, choice, and independence.

Southwest Homes supports and empowers people living with intellectual and/or physical disabilities to achieve their goals and be valued members of the community. The work involves assisting participants in a residential and/or community program settings with planning, leisure activities, community engagement, and also helping with administrative support. Team members working in residential program settings also assist participants with personal care.

**Requirements**:

- Able to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with program participants, and other team members
- Strong teamwork ability, and excellent communication skills
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to complete within 6 months
- Must have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License/Novice 2
- Submission of a clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check is required upon hiring
- Able to stand for several hours, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50lbs

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.78 per hour
