EPC Canada is a dynamic, fast-growing company. It is 100% owned by the EPC Group, an international manufacturer of commercial explosives with extensive experience and expertise in storage and distribution in the mining, construction and quarrying industries.

EPC Canada is looking for an Operations Assistant. Reporting to the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting managers in the planning and monitoring of projects or daily operational activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Support supervisors in planning work schedules.
- Plan and organize transport, including documentation.
- Take inventory of raw materials and various supplies.
- Participate in site improvement projects.
- Support supervisors in their daily tasks.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of administrative management files.
- Document event expenses and monitor budgets.
- Organize and coordinate travel and accommodation for employees and visitors.
- Help prepare new employee arrivals.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of internal management files.
- Support supervisors accounting department requests
- Manage office supplies inventory and ensure replenishment.
- Write, revise and organize reports and documents related to operations.
- Maintain relevant databases, tracking systems and registers.
- Assist teams in using internal tools and processes.
- Provide logístical support for in-house training, workshops and events.
- Participate in the implementation of new policies or procedures.
- Provide recommendations based on data and feedback.
- Communicate with certain suppliers to manage orders and ensure deliveries.
- Perform any other related administrative support or coordination tasks.

**Qualifications required**
- DEC in logistics management (an asset) or other related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a project or operations management environment.
- Experience in an administrative or operational support role.
- Proficiency in office automation tools (Microsoft Office Suite).

**Skills required**
- Ability to manage several requests simultaneously and adaptability.
- Show initiative and be results-oriented.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a constantly changing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Work conditions**
- Have no legal impediments related to employment.
- Working hours 4-3.
- Group insurance and pension plans.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- 44-hour week from Sunday to Saturday.
- Be available and flexible to work irregular hours.
- Have an interest in working in extreme climatic environments on occasion.
- Be in good physical shape.
