Our Systemair facility located in Tillsonburg Ontario is the manufacturing center of commercial air handling units (AHU) for North America.
Our clean, air-conditioned plant along with state-of-the-art equipment (Prima Power Servo-Electric Press Brakes, Shear/Punch Combi w/ fully automated coil and sheet loading and finished part stacking equipment) and family like atmosphere provides a safe, comfortable and friendly work environment.
Work location 8 Rouse Street, Tillsonburg Ontario (on site).
We are looking for a HVAC Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist with ensuring our HVAC units work properly and troubleshoot any HVAC issues.

**Responsibilities**:
Functionality and electrical test of all ventilator and components
Operational testing of various models including heat pumps, hot gas reheat, hydronic heating and cooling systems
Working with a range of products and voltages from 120volts - 600volts
Troubleshooting equipment for defective components
Replace defective components as required
Use of hand tools and appropriate meters and gauges to ensure design operation
Testing of control system and control software
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications
Complete documentation pertaining to the operational status of the equipment
Visual Quality Check to confirm final finish meets expectations
Identify and address design/build concerns with the Team Supervisor/Lead Hand
Identify and add input to assist in improving efficiencies and qualities within our build processes
Maintain a safe and respectful work environment
Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Lead Hand
**Skills Required**:
Electrical troubleshooting experience is preferred
Wiring of electrical components
Mechanical, electrical and diagnostics skills
Strong work ethic
Punctual with good attendance record
Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
Ability to organize
Good team player
Self-motivated requiring mínimal supervision
Tools provided
**Hours**:
Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm
Friday 7am-11am
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Starting Pay**: $33.75 per hour
**Expected hours**: 40 per week
