Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) is an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs). **Permanent residency within 120 km of Plains’ Rocky Mountain House field office is a condition of employment.**

- Flexible and willing to work within pipeline / truck terminal operations and provide project support.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with Plains employees and stakeholders including landowners, contractors, utility companies, and municipalities.
- Able to perform minor maintenance duties with pumps and piping, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude.
- Capable of independent work with mínimal supervision.
- Conversant in ground disturbance protocols; one-call notices, maps, and drawings; pipeline encroachment; and crossing agreements.
- Able to respond to and interpret one-call notices to locate and mark pipelines along Plains’ pipeline ROWs.
- Self-motivated and energetic with effective written/verbal communication skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Permanent residence within 120 km of Plains’ Rocky Mountain House field office
- Minimum Grade 12 education with 3 to 5 years’ pipeline / line locating experience
- Certified Interprovincial Journeyperson—Instrumentation Technician, Electrician, or Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)—considered a strong asset
- Demonstrated competence in line location
- Demonstrated computer knowledge with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong focus on safety and accountability for safety performance
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks
- Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing
