**About this role**:
**Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery in London, Ontario** is currently recruiting for a full-time Groundsperson.

Forest Lawn has approximately 64 developed acres and is presently performing 480 interments annually. This property consists of an on-site administration and sales office and an on-site Funeral Home performing approximately 650 calls annually.

This position is based on a 40-hour work week schedule, Monday to Friday, and may change as required based on the needs of the business, including working of overtime when required.

**Job Type**:Full time, 5-month Contract

**Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities**:

- Enthusiasm for working outdoors.
- Driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Previous landscaping, horticultural and/or cemetery experience is nice to have.
- Heavy equipment operator training/certification is nice to have.
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM) certification is nice to have.

**Responsibilities**:

- All aspects of cemetery care including interments, customer service, memorial and monument installations, equipment maintenance and grounds maintenance.
