**Your Day to Day**:

- Minimum of two years (2) experience with standard metrology equipment (e.g. verniers, dial indicators, gauge blocks)
- Knowledge of CMM use
- Computer literacy and proficiency in various software packages ( e.g. Microsoft word, Excel,)
- Read and Interpret drawings
- Technical or manufacturing experience [knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes for shop fabrication (e.g. machining, welding, assembly)]
- Perform dimensional/visual inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies
- Perform calibration on both company and employee owned tools.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Who You Are**:

- High school diploma or GED, and post-secondary technical education
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar trade
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- The ability to produce objective reports
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Interest in developing technical skills through both internal and external training.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work with little supervision: must be self-directed
- Ability to prepare reports and documentation
- Comply with all Westinghouse Canada policies and procedures
- Required to use PPE
- Ability to pass Annual eye examination for, near distance visual acuity, colour differentiation
- Possession of valid Driver’s License

**Preferred Qualifications**:
- CSA N299 series
- CSA N285.0, B51
- ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III, VIII
- ASME NQA-1
- Experience with CMM and FARO Arm equipment
- Experience and/or background in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential to be successful in our team-based environment. You will possess problem solving skills and a creative yet methodical approach
