Powder Coater/labourer

**Please note this is an evening shift position. However, the training period for the first 4-6 weeks will take place during day shift.**

Evening shift hours are Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM with the opportunity for overtime.

Pearson Manufacturing Ltd. has two locations within Leduc, Alberta. Since our incorporation in 2012, we have specialized in engineering, manufacturing and assembly and serve a variety of industries including the oil & gas sector, commercial construction, aerospace & defense as well as the production of architectural hardware.

We are a progressively growing company and are seeking an experienced and dedicated Powder Coater to join our team.

**Overview**
As a Powder Coater / Labourer, you will play a critical role in assisting with various tasks to support our operations our powder coating shop.

**Duties**
- Perform general labor tasks such as loading and unloading material
- Staging/Assembly: Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, abrasive blasting, masking as needed & Palletizing parts for shipment.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Pickup/deliver parts within the Leduc area
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Maintaining general cleanliness and organization and other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Skills**
- Minimum 2 years experience with Powder Coating (Electrostatic Spray) is a requirement for this position
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Class 5 Drivers license required
- Physical strength and stamina to handle manual labor tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Strong work ethic, punctuality & reliability
- Experience with tools and equipment

Steel-toed boots are required for this position.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
