Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking an **AOPS Programs team Student Summer 2024 Co-op Term**

**Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking a Commerce Co-op student for the 2024 Summer Term to work with our AOPS Program Team.**

**Qualifications**:

- Education Required: Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program from the following areas:

- Business Administration/Commerce
- Finance
- Accounting
- Supply Chain Management
- University Business/Commerce Degree student in good academic standing
- Strong academic performance and a desire to excel.
- Proven leadership in professional, athletic, school or community pursuits
- Interest in the shipbuilding, defense, or marine industry and a desire to join an exciting, fast-paced organization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, openness to learning new technology.
- Skilled in organizing and managing a variety of tasks with varying priorities and is a fast learner and effective problem solver.
- All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day aspects of the AOPS Spares Program
- Report to the Customer and Internal stakeholders on progress
- Work with multiple stakeholders to trouble shoot issues.
- Liaison with sub-contractors who are providing services to the Spares Program
- Participate in Improvement activities that aim to improve the Program.
- Completion of project & team performance reporting
