Cable 14 is looking for a **Junior Producer** with a diverse and well-rounded set of skills to join our dynamic team this coming Spring & Summer. As a Junior Producer at Cable 14, you will be involved in a variety of production assignments that will have you covering summer events, festivals and sporting events. As a member of our team, you will represent Cable 14 as you engage weekly with our community in the Greater Hamilton Area.

The hours associated with this Part-Time opportunity may vary weekly based on our production commitments. This position requires flexible working hours, including evenings, holidays and weekends.

When working within our Cable 14 production environment you will be accountable for contributing towards the health and safety of staff, volunteers and guests in accordance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY**:

- You will assist in all aspects of our television productions (_In-studio, On-location and EFP Productions_).

**REQUI**RED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- You are a television broadcasting student in an accredited college-level program, recent graduate, or equivalent experience.
- You bring experience shooting, editing and delivering features for inclusion in our Cable 14 programming.
- You have experience creating & developing graphics along with creative elements used in television production.
- You bring operational knowledge of production equipment such as video switchers, audio boards, lighting, computers, graphic stations, ENG/EFP cameras and editing systems.
- You must have a valid driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract.
- You bring a positive, respectful and outgoing personality to the production environment as you will represent Cable 14 at public events throughout the Greater Hamilton Area..
- You’re highly self-motivated and creative, with superior time and project management skills.
- You can work productively with mínimal supervision & deliver content in a timely manner with exceptional results.
