We are currently seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Math Tutor to work with our highest achieving students, helping them push their boundaries and excel further in mathematics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenges and is committed to fostering a deep understanding and love for math among students.

Role Highlights:

- Provide personalized tutoring to high-achieving students, focusing on advanced mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques.
- Develop and implement strategies to challenge and extend students' mathematical thinking, encouraging them to explore complex topics beyond the standard curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of instructional approaches, including inquiry-based and project-based learning, to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Be adept at using technology to enhance learning experiences, incorporating digital tools and resources into tutoring sessions.
- Support the academic and social-emotional development of each student, ensuring a balanced approach to high achievement.

Qualifications:

- A strong background in mathematics, with advanced knowledge in areas relevant to the curriculum and beyond.
- Membership with the Ontario College of Teachers (preferred) or equivalent qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex mathematical concepts in an understandable and engaging manner.
- Experience with or a strong interest in inquiry
- and project-based learning methodologies.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with our teaching team when necessary.
- A genuine passion for mathematics and for inspiring students to achieve excellence.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
