Head Concierge

Are you committed to protecting your community? Blackbird Security is seeking to hire **Head Concierge** in **Surrey, BC **for a condominium in the heart of Surrey.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide prompt and courteous service to prospective and current residents, focusing on their individual needs and wants
- Establish positive working relationships with business owners and suppliers in the area in order to provide residents with high quality and reliable recommendations
- Answer, record, and process all resident calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns
- Record and report resident complaints to the Building Manager for immediate action
- Provide building access to contractors and visitors by maintaining contractor logs and managing access devices
- Monitor access by activating and maintaining log of security access cards and fobs, underground transmitters and other access devices
- Maintain enterphone system and security system software
- Perform regular patrols of the interior and exterior common areas
- Act as a liaison between contracted staff and Buildig Manager, reporting any issues to Management
- Lead the property’s concierge operations and team in every regard
- Prioritize and delegate day-to-day activities to all Concierge staff
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Building Manager

**Qualifications**
- Previous Guest Services or Concierge experience required;
- Working knowledge of the Strata Property Act preferred;
- Motivated and professional with a service-oriented mindset;
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle conflict tactfully;
- Computer literate including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Organized and detail-oriented

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 3 years (required)
