**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Use hand tools and power tools as necessary
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety precautions are taken during painting process
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Follow established guidelines and safety procedures

**Skills**:

- Customer service: Ability to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Construction painting: Experience with painting in a construction setting
- Restoration: Knowledge of techniques for restoring old or damaged surfaces
- Blueprint reading: Ability to interpret blueprints and follow specifications
- Hand tools: Proficient in using various hand tools such as scrapers, sanders, and brushes
- Power tools: Familiarity with power tools such as paint sprayers and sanders
- Carpentry: Basic carpentry skills for repairing or replacing damaged surfaces
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Drywall: Experience with patching and repairing drywall
