Shipper Receivers in this unit group perform some or all of the following duties:

- Practice safe work procedures and follow all health and safety regulations
- Working in all outside weather conditions
- Follow all written schedules, shipping receiving documents and possibly drawings
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
- Perform loading and unloading of goods from trucks, containers, or other conveyances by hand, forklift or overhead crane, hand truck or other equipment
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods. Receive goods in ERP system and put away on shelf
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Maintain internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems
- Verify stock availability from current inventory
- Help keep shop and warehouse clean and organized
- Inspect goods to ensure proper quality and quantity
- Proper Crane pre-operational inspection
- Operate overhead cranes with loads from 5-20 tonnes
- Operate large forklifts of up to 3 tonnes
- Read blueprints and drawings for product specifications. Perform basic math and calculations

Employment Requirements:

- 2 years forklift experience is mandatory
- 1+ years over-head crane experience mandatory
- Experience in a related clerical occupation or as a warehouse worker may be required
- A driver's license may be required
- Beginner/Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office Suite and ERP systems is an asset
- Standing for a long period of time and the ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Personal Protective Equipment will be required
- Shift will be 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday

- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work
