310t Truck and Coach Technician Apprentice

At Blenheim Bus Lines, our technicians/mechanics are an integral part of the school busing team. They are committed to safety, customer service and have experience in Truck and Coach equipment repair and maintenance primarily on school buses.

We are currently seeking an individual for our team that desires to be a 310T Mechanic Apprentice.

If you are a highly motivated, self-starter and eager-to-learn individual looking to begin a career in the Truck and Coach repair field, then this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance, conduct inspections, troubleshoot, diagnose & perform necessary repairs.
- Complete all service sheets and necessary paperwork in a timely and effective manner.
- Perform roadside service calls for emergency breakdowns.

**Requirements**:

- Positive attitude and able to work in a team environment.
- An eagerness to learn on the job as well as through research and necessary schooling.
- Manual dexterity.
- Able to perform jobs that require heavy lifting.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Work as part of a team in a family orientated business.

No previous mechanical experience necessary but would be considered an asset.
- Wage to be negotiated based on experience and level of apprenticeship completed._
