Overview:
We are small business seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers to provide essential care and recreational support to adults and seniors living in Kitchener. As a community Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring assistance with daily living activities.

**Duties**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Log daily client progress notes in online platform
- Design, implement, and evaluate recreational activities that will engage your client and promote their independence

**Requirements**:

- Experience in senior care required
- Experience in Recreation Management is preferred, we will provide on the job training
- Knowledge of Patient Care practices and procedures
- Familiarity with Dementia Care and Hospice Care is a plus
- Certification PSW, or equivalent
- Diploma in Recreation Management/Gerontology is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
