We are a small local company that does residential and commercial eavestrough cleaning and other small jobs at heights. We are currently hiring foreman/crew lead. The job entails navigating Winnipeg doing small, mostly residential eavestrough cleaning and small repair jobs, and thorough communication and coordination with crew members and management.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must have relatable experience and be comfortable with moving, setting up, and climbing ladders up to 35 ft.
- Fall arrest training is a major asset.
- Experience in gutter maintenance and repair is a major asset.
- Must be hardworking and in good physical shape.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must be capable of working unsupervised and personable towards clients and coworkers.
- No educational requirements. Basic understanding of small engine equipment is an asset.
- Must have drivers license and reliable cell phone with data plan.

**About the Job**:

- Perform regular duties of laborer (description at bottom).
- Hours are roughly 45-50 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Working on Saturday may be required.
- May be required to work extra hours before or after regular operating hours (time spent shopping, messaging coworkers and admin).
- We do not work if raining or too windy. “Rain days” will be made up on weekends if required.
- Coordinate with admin daily to affirm routes and work orders before every shift.
- Coordinate rendezvous with other crew member(s) the morning before every shift.
- Follow up with other crew members at the end of the day, review reports and progress, ensure that pictures and reports are thorough and submit to admin.
- Ensure crew members are utilizing safety equipment when needed.
- Ensure cleaning and other maintenance tasks are performed correctly.
- Provide guidance and training to other crew members.
- Ensure the quality of work of the other crew members.
- Maintain a clean work vehicle, maintain basic fluids in vehicle.
- Maintain the inventory for the work vehicle.
- When needed, inspecting and correcting quality of work of other crews or subcontractors
- Track and record job expenses and hours worked and report to admin.

**About the Job**:

- Hours are fulltime, aiming for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. We do not work if raining or too windy. “Rain days” can be made up on weekends if desired.
- Commonly crews consist of two members. Shifts are eight hours starting at 9 AM. This is flexible and to be coordinated between members of your crew.
- Pay is $20-25/hr based on experience and performance. A half hour is added each day for commuting costs.
- There is a substantial customer service component to the job. You will be expected to communicate thoroughly with and attempt to fulfil the requests of the customer even if it slows productivity.
- Working interview (tryout) is $15/hr with cash paid at the end of the day.
- Pay can be weekly or bi-weekly.
- Will consider applicants for working independently with your own vehicle. More of these positions will open up temporarily in the spring and fall when we are busiest.
- Opportunity for advancement to foreman/crew lead position ($30/hr) with a drivers license.
