We are looking for a creative individual with sculpting skills to help construct costume parts, props and sculpt mascot heads and parts. This varied position involves working within a team environment to build such things as armour, swords, body shapes etc. You will be expected to sculpt (reductive) using various materials & mediums, use a variety of glues, adhesives and paints. You will be expected to use shop machinery, vacu-form and tools. The position involves some special effects and animatronics along with supporting coworkers in a variety of tasks like the installation of fans, helmets, facial features, ears, making of mascot footwear. This position will provide an opportunity to advance and learn techniques to carve character mascot heads.
- **Must have** an excellent grasp of 3D problem solving and be detail oriented & very organized. Some technical fabrication will be expected involving wiring, props, footwear, the use of plastics, adhesives, air brushing, painting and/or stenciling.
- Ability to sketch cartoon/animation **is an asset**.
- Knowledge/experience in Arduino and/or other platforms, ZBrush, Photoshop and/or Illustrator (or similar CAD programs) **is an asset**.

Specific experience in sculpting mascots is not necessarily required as we will train on the job if we find the right person.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
