Summary

The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the full procurement cycle, which includes but is not limited to, maintaining, and establishing relationships with vendors, contract management, monthly reporting on the success of each procurement category, and ad hoc administrative tasks such as RFP submissions. The successful applicant will be able to evaluate subcontractor and vendor performance, in order to make recommendations on future usage, while building strong relationships and establishing strategic partnerships with key vendors.

Job Duties
- Evaluate and strengthen our vendor relationships
- Maintain regular communication with vendors to understand new technologies and developments that Priestly can take advantage of to enhance our business
- Work with all departments and teams to procure services and products
- Build and maintain a pre-qualification process for sub-trades
- Review current vendor contracts to find opportunities for savings
- Participate in the ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Maintain vendor scorecard to track performance
- Develop and communicate necessary analytics and reports to various stakeholders
- Support the current process automation and technology enablement initiatives
- Assist in procurement related activities (expediting, quotations, sourcing, etc.)
- Ensure adequate stakeholder engagement including both internal and external parties
- Build and maintain reports for tracking procurement activities/trends as required
- Ensure proper documents retention and safe keeping of procurement process transactional activities
- Lead the administration of photocopying, scanning, filling and distribution, of vendor records
- Coordinate purchasing of office supplies
- Other duties as required
- Position Requirements

**Requirements**:
Recommended College diploma in business administration or equivalent discipline related to procurement or good standing as a Certified Supply Chain Professional
3-5 years of procurement and/or, process improvement, and/or, project management experience. Any exposure to construction industry would be an asset but not a must
Strong communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks
High level of organizational skills
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and high attention to the details
Team player with the desire and ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done with a “Hand's on” approach to tasks
Competency in ‘Vista by Viewpoint’ software considered an asset
