Hours of Work: 0 - 14.75 per week (including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays) Terms: Relief Start Date: ASAP Reports to: Program Manager Location: Various Reporting to the Program Manager, the incumbent will assist with ongoing development, implementation, and review of individual programs for participants involved with Community Re-entry programs. The programs are holistic in nature and include cognitive, social, communication, and leisure elements, as well as activities of daily living and household management
WORKING CONDITIONS: - Working in a Residential or Supported Independent Living Program setting - Driving with participants in own vehicle/agency provided vehicle. - Swimming in therapeutic swimming pool with participants. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - This job requires the incumbent to support participants as needed with physio-therapy routines, ADLs, personal hygiene, lifts, and transfers, as well as completing household duties. Responsibilities assigned may include lifting up to 20lbs. - When working overnight shifts, the incumbent is required to remain awake and alert through the overnight hours, completing household duties, and assisting participants as needed.
