Spray Foam Technician

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Responsible and accountable for working with peers and helper's to complete spray foam jobs and any other necessary work as directed by the company owner and/or the company manager
- Prepare for job thoroughly by comprehending the scope of work for each job and ensuring the necessary equipment, PPE, tools, paperwork and all supplies are brought
- Drive company vehicle with equipment from the shop to the jobsite(s)
- Confirm scope of work matches outlined description on estimates
- Make the necessary preparations for installation process at the jobsite by unloading equipment, placing items on site, and ensuring the helper understands the required work to be completed to prep the site
- Meet with the contractor or homeowner and the beginning and end of each job for pre and post inspections, to answer any questions and ensure job completion
- Survey the job site and take necessary steps to protect and prevent overspray, this includes on site and in the immediate area, taking into account weather conditions like wind
- Supervise - Direct all personnel on site to make sure assigned tasks are being completed as directed and that each individual is working in a productive manner
- Survey job site prior to leaving to ensure that all equipment has been returned to the spray foam truck and cleaned and ready for the next job
- Work towards excelling as a technician by upholding and protecting the high quality for work expected, ensuring all work meets or exceeds these standards
- Maintain a current knowledge and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

- Understand the proper operating procedures of the spray foam equipment
- UFC, CUFCA or Caliber Certification is essential
- Minimum of one year as a spray foam technician
- Understanding of the construction industry
- Knowledge of insulation building codes an asset
- OHSA Mandatory Training an asset
- Preferred: Worker health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps, Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness, WHMIS 2015/ GHS, Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform, Working in Confined Spaces.
- Must have, and maintain a good, clean driving record
- Must follow all OHSA Rules and Regulations, company policies, and technical standards for spray foam technicians
- Must present themselves daily in clean and presentable clothing in order to meet customers

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 55 per week

- Monday to Friday
