**Heavy Equipment Operator Position in Victoria, BC**

**Important Information**:

- **Location: Victoria, Canada**:

- **Pay: CA$26.00**:

- **Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7 AM - 330 PM or 8 AM - 430 PM**:

- **Overtime: As needed (typically between 0 - 10 hours per week)**:

- **Percent of equipment time vs manual labor: 70% on equipment**:

- **Working Conditions: Metals Recycling Facility / 100% outside / loud / noisy**

**Description**

Essential Functions of the Heavy Equipment Operator
- Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies
- Sorting and grading of incoming metal deliveries from suppliers and customers
- Facilitating production efficiency and productivity while never accepting lower quality
- Works together with other team members, and transportation companies
- Experience with forklifts, trucks and heavy machinery
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Class-5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
