**The opportunity**:
Looking for a passionate individual to join our kitchen team.

**About Us**:
Located in the heart of Kitsilano, where we have been serving contemporary Asian cuisine. We are a fairly new restaurant, having been in operation for over a year. Work alongside our founder and chef, Victor He, who brings experience from Bo Shanghai (1 Michelin Star) and as the founder of the Pokey Okey restaurant chain.

**What We're Looking For**:
Someone who thrives on building something from the ground up and embraces the challenges of running a small restaurant with a limited team. Who is both self reliant and self starter. If you're eager to expand your creativity and seek autonomy in your work, this is the opportunity for you.

**Requirements**:

- **Passion for Creativity**: You want a back-of-house position where you can fully utilize your talent and creativity.
- **Love for Cooking**: We mean REALLY passionate about cooking.
- **Adaptability**: You can pivot with the unpredictable nature of a startup restaurant.
- **Appreciation for Dedication**: Join a team that truly values your dedication to your craft.
- Available during weekends, either day or night.

**Preferences**:

- 2+ years of experience.
- Self-growth mindset.
- Comfortable operating within a small business environment with a team of 4-10 people.
- Basic understanding of Chinese or Japanese ingredients and cuisine.

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
