Profile (Overview of job)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Aviation Data Migration Specialist (6-Month Contract) at the AMO to support the setup and configuration of our Fleet and Asset Management Module in our new ERP system. This critical role requires expertise in interpreting aircraft manuals and translating technical data into files correctly formatted for ERP migration. The aspects of migration include maintenance programs, template structures, tools, and AD, SB, and modification libraries. The Aviation AMO Data Migration Specialist will work under the direction of the AMO ERP Business Owner and closely collaborate with the AMO Data Migration Lead.
Key Responsibilities
**Technical Analysis**:
- Interpret complex aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documents to define ERP setup requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
**Data Preparation and Management**:
- Extract and organize data from aircraft manuals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and upload information for maintenance programs, tools, AD/SB (Airworthiness Directives/Service Bulletins), and modification libraries.
- Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver on business and project objectives.
**ERP Learning**:
- Gain a thorough understanding of the Fleet and Asset Management Module, including its calculations, functions and workflows.
Other duties as assigned to meet all program and business deliverables necessary to meet schedule.
**Qualifications**:Essential**:
- Experience in aviation maintenance, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret aircraft technical manuals, including maintenance programs, aircraft records and ADs, SBs and Modsum documents.
- Comfort with excel and data manipulation.
- Excellent logical, analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills
**Preferred**:
- Experience with other Aviation Maintenance Software, specifically experience with IFS would be a bonus
- Strong understanding or experience with data entry, cleansing and/or migration.
