Operations Clerk

The WoodSource is a growing Canadian business providing custom millwork services and specialty lumber to Eastern Ontario and beyond. Sourcing wood locally and from around the globe, we supply some of the finest building materials to business partners, contractors, independent homeowners, and skilled craftspeople. **YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE**:
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Operations Clerk will support customer service, manufacturing, receiving, and fulfillment functions in the business. The clerk will work in our operations hub and be responsible for the timely and accurate handling of a variety of information that flows through that office.

**Schedule**: 34-42.5 hours a week with Sundays guaranteed off
**Base Wage**: Starting at $18/hour
**Location**:6178 Mitch Owens Rd, Manotick

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service;
- Process customer sales;
- Action internal Work Orders to ensure the data is kept accurate concerning consumption and production of material;
- Review and receive incoming stock into inventory;
- Support the planning and management of delivered orders;
- Other tasks as required.

**WHAT YOU NEED**
- Professional approach and presence;
- Outstanding attitude: have initiative, display excellent follow-up, have a positive outlook and be a pleasure to work with;
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing processes;
- Pay attention to the details and ask questions;
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal);
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook;
- French is considered an asset;
- Industry knowledge and previous retail experience are considered assets.

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

- MANOTICK, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
