Pay depending on experience $21 - $22 per hour, plus gratuities

Surrounded by sweeping views of some of the most scenic backdrop’s BC has to offer, Golden Eagle Golf Club is home to 36 holes of golf, a stunning banquet space and a massive patio famous for its sunsets. This hidden gem welcomes all and offers fantastic value in local golf and events

The Food and Beverage department is looking for an energetic with a great personality individual to assist in overseeing the events that happen at the golf course. The individual will be required to work closely with the entire Food and Beverage team, in particular the Sales and Event Manager, to ensure the smooth running of these events

Responsible for but not limited to:

- Collaborate with event management team to plan, organize golf tournaments, weddings, or other events including format and logistics
- Coordinating with the Food & Beverage department for tournaments requiring banquets or meal services
- Be knowledgeable in all BEO
- Event Execution by overseeing all aspects of the tournaments, weddings and other events when needed
- Direct any involved staff members for the event and proactively handle any arising issues on event day
- Strategize to promote tournaments, attract participants, and maximize attendance
- Coordinate with event organizers
- Provide exceptional service to all events at the club house
- Evaluate each event and gather feedback, and make recommendations

Qualifications:

- Outgoing, social, and welcoming to all guests
- Proven experience in event planning or hospitality industry
- Strong administration, organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by event schedules
- Ability to generate and promote marketing ideas and materials
- Likes to golf or understanding of the sport would be an asset
