**Job Description**:

- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Prepare special orders
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Draw up production schedules
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each product meets food safety and
- quality controls
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Ensure that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for other shifts
- Clean kitchen areas
- Operate machinery, kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, bakewares, patry blenders or
- cutters and others
- Keep records related to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Participate in product development
- Requirements:

- Education: Completion of high school is required
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Hand
- eye co-ordination, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure

A 30-minute unpaid lunch break will be provided as well as 2 paid healthy breaks of 15 minutes. Overtime may be required.
