**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to join our team. As an SEO Specialist at Monark, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to elevate our organic search traffic and enhance overall optimization efforts. Depending on qualifications and experience, we are open to hiring a Junior SEO Specialist or an SEO Specialist.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct in-depth SEO analysis, diagnose website issues, and implement necessary adjustments.
- Perform comprehensive keyword research and SEO audits to identify valuable keywords and optimal strategies for website ranking.
- Execute on-page SEO, A/B testing, and off-page SEO (Link Building) to improve search rankings.
- Address technical SEO tasks, including page speed optimization, schema markup, and image optimization.
- Craft, edit, proofread, and review external marketing communications, including ads, titles, and descriptions.
- Produce high-quality, in-depth SEO blog posts on various topics.
- Create and modify SEO content for various website pages.
- Set up and manage Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Google Ads Accounts.
- Monitor Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and link profiles.
- Prepare detailed SEO reports and competitor analyses for presentation to the leadership team.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in SEO tactics, tools, technology, and processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary diploma in Marketing, Publishing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization for an SEO Specialist.
- Relevant coursework or up to 1 year of experience for a Junior SEO Specialist.
- 1 year of experience in Marketing copywriting is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, GSC, Google Tag Manager, Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Moz, WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify.
- Knowledge and experience with CMS and Marketing Automation Systems.
- Knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS is a plus.
- Self-starter, organized, motivated, and punctual.
- Passionate about SEO, SEM, and digital marketing in general.
