Dog Groomer

The Awesome Pawsome Ranch Grooming Team is well known for their ability to transform dogs with beautifully detailed work. Our grooming team focuses on kind and loving handling of all clients and are scheduled with ample time to complete their grooms with mínimal stress.

We operate with 2 full time groomers in a beautiful country setting inside an established busy pet hotel (opened in 2006). The entire building is 10,000sft. Our groomers have their own private large grooming zones with big windows for natural lights as well as new LED overhead lighting. Our bathing area is located outside of the groom zones and are fully stocked by us with a variety of the top shampoos and conditioners available.

Our grooming team is provided with continuing education as well as paid trips to seminars in Canada.

All together on site we have an awesome team of 4 wonderful young ladies who work together and support one another to achieve our goal of happy eager to return clients

We require the applicants to have a MINIMUM of 2 years IN SALON grooming experience, a working knowledge of breed standard grooms, in depth knowledge of pet grooms as well as hand scissoring skills. A PLUS if you like to use a Clipper Vac

All applicants are expected to provide and maintain their own equipment with the exceptions of tub and table.

Groomers are hired on a IC basis but need to be able to work in a fun positive team environment and commit to our hours (tues - sat 9am to approx 5pm)

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and styling pets according to client preferences
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other basic grooming services
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of services provided

Other Requirements:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with pet owners
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments in a gentle and compassionate manner
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as large dogs or grooming equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Salary**: $30,000.00-$74,862.05 per year
