Pest Control Technician

Established in 2015, Balson Pest Control offers a complete array of Pest services for Residential and Commercial Clients. As a Pest Control and Wildlife Technician you will receive Training support and all equipment and material to ensure you are successful in the position. After your initial training you will receive ongoing support training and tips from your team leader. Once training is successfully completed you will be issued a company vehicle and equipment. You will work with in a team of technicians, working independently towards the teams goals.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- 2 Training weeks in office/field
- Complete pre and post work for training workshops
- Ride-along with Team leader infield to observe, Learn and support Team leader
- Observe and learn the different steps of the services we provide.
- Learn how our Pest Control Team operates from initial sale to completion of service.
- Maintain Vehicle and equipment with utmost of care.
- Monitor individual work load and prioritize responsibilities
- Use of time for learning, growth and development

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to understand and work with Software products Like Service Box and QuickBooks
- Fluent English
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Home construction experiance is a must
- Daily travel in Georgian Bay area and other areas as needed

**Working Conditions**:

- Driving company vehicle to and from customer sites on a daily basis
- A portion of our client base is water access homes and cottages as a result a level of comfort in vessel on water is required. Due to the nature of our work from time to time.
- Independent working throughout the day.
- Tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
- Working at heights is common and we offer training.
- Must have prior knowledge of home construction

**Education**:

- OSSD Mandatory
- Pest Control Experience/ Licence is a Bonus but not a must.

**Prior Experience**:

- Excellent presentation skills in English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
