Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review customer drawings, specifications and production routings for new purchase orders
- Develop engineering designs and shop fabrication drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, calculations and other data
- Ensure detailed drawings are prepared and transferred to the Sales Representative, Production Manager, and/or client
- Convert 2D sheet metal parts into 3D
- Engineer and detail 3D models, assemblies and subassemblies using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor
- Update drawings as projects are implemented
- Maintain all drawing records and CAD files
- Comply with all quality-related policies, procedures and system requirements
- Adhere to strict deadlines and ensure project completion
Qualifications:
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Inventor (creating sheet metal components, assemblies and drawings)
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- High energy level and positive attitude
- Must be able to work without direct supervision and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organization skills required
- Must effectively work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
Work Conditions:
- Well-lit, quiet standard office environment
- Mostly long hours sitting and using office equipment
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
- AutoCAD: 2 years (preferred)
- Autodesk Inventor: 2 years (preferred)
