**IFRS Instructor for ICT Schools**

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and caring **IFRS Instructor**, who has a customer-centered approach to working with domestic and international learners **to facilitate a seminar of three days duration starting February 21, 2023. **An Instructor is expected to be patient, understanding, and bring a high level of commitment to excellence and integrity in teaching and learning.

**Requirements**:

- University degree in Accounting is required.
- Must have 3+ years of industry work experience and 2+ teaching experience
- Professional Accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CMA) is required.
- A Masters in Accounting (MAcc/MBA) is preferred.
- A degree or diploma in adult education is considered an asset.
- Understanding of Adult Learning Principles is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience (Canadian experience is an asset)
- High level of organization and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- A demonstrated dedication to continuous learning
- Outstanding classroom management and planning skills.
- A dynamic, vibrant and fun personality, while maintaining highest levels of respect towards others
- Availability to work with flexible schedules
- High energy and enthusiasm while delivering classes
- Confidence in solving problems and providing solutions
- Capable of working independently as well as being part of a team
- Being able to work under pressure/fast-paced environment and deliver on scheduled deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

**Responsibilities**:

- Support student success and learning skill development
- Actively contribute to curriculum improvement and instructional effectiveness assessment
- High standards of behaviour, a professional attitude and commitment to quality service.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other instructors and staff.
- Ability to consider and respond appropriately to the needs, feelings and capabilities of students, to provide feedback and treat students equitably.
- Ability to adapt course content in accordance with student’s interests and future experiences
- Administer tests designed to determine the abilities for student success
- Conduct lectures with well-prepared course plans including clear learning objectives, course materials, suitable learning modules, etc.
- Work with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom.
- Interact intensively with students for Q&A, enhancing their understanding of course materials.
- Collaborate with students and school administrators to determine student needs, identify the area of improvements, develop teaching plans, and assess students’ progress.
- Provide students with positive and constructive feedback.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 days

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
