**About the Opportunity**:
We are looking for a highly skilled ERP Project Manager to join our team. As a member of our dynamic, small-to-medium-sized family business, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of our ERP system. This role requires someone with strong business analysis, process improvement, and data analysis skills to automate manual and redundant processes, thereby increasing operational efficiency. Given the size and structure of our business, the ability to adapt and contribute to multiple strategic priorities will be crucial. You must be comfortable managing competing demands and balancing priorities, whether through ERP implementation or other critical business initiatives.
**What will you get to do**:
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the ERP system to meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze current systems, especially accounting, payroll, and inventory, to identify inefficiencies and automate manual processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of various systems (e.g., accounting, payroll) into the ERP, working closely with vendors and internal teams.
- Perform and manage QA during ERP implementation and updates to ensure smooth functionality and meet project goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align ERP solutions with business goals, managing change and ensuring smooth adoption.
- Work closely with external vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth integration of ERP and other IT systems. Manage relationships and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Provide training and support to users, ensuring they understand and adapt to the ERP system. Create training materials and assist with user onboarding.
- Be flexible to take on additional tasks as priorities shift in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
**What are we looking for**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, and/or,
- Proven experience in ERP implementation, system reviews, and process improvements.
- Strong understanding of accounting systems, including accounting software and payroll software, with hands-on experience being a significant asset.
- Project Management Experience: Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies, Waterfall, and hybrid project management practices. Waterfall: Managing upfront scoping, budgeting, and timeline adherence. Agile: Iterative delivery, sprint planning, MVP prioritization, and adaptability.
- Certification in project management (PMP, or similar) is a significant asset. PRINCE2, or Agile certifications like CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PMI-ACP.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure user adoption.
- Hands-on experience with ERP vendors and system integrations.
- Change management skills, with the ability to guide teams through system and process transitions.
- Ability to manage organizational change related to ERP implementation, ensuring end-user adoption.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats and jump into high-priority tasks outside their primary scope when needed.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and track budgets, including resource allocation and cost control.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies and tools for software testing.
- 4-5 years of experience in IT project management, specifically managing ERP implementations or large software deployment projects.
- Experience in analyzing and improving business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and automating manual tasks.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
