**Who We're Looking for?**

Cascadia Metals Edmonton is looking to hire a **Junior Machine Operato**r for our warehouse. We are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion mindset and values

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to proper procedure and safety regulations to working on assigned machines and equipment, ensuring correct personal protective equipment is used at all times
- You prepare, set up, and clean the machines before starting work, after completing work, and as required.
- You review, troubleshoot, and repair any quality control issues with the Quality Control Inspector and your team leader and/or supervisor
- You facilitate effective and productive communications within the team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- You follow Company regulations and procedures in order to uphold the Company's quality and safety standards.
- You perform other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**:

- Must be reliable and punctual
- Forklift certification is mandatory
- Machine Operating experience is a must
- Flexibility; able to multi-task and work as part of a team
- You have previous manufacturing experience or exposure to fast-paced environments
- You have high attention to detail.
- You have the ability to work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision and to work effectively as a team.
- You have excellent organizational skills and flexibility
- Able to read orders and complete essential paperwork
- Must own steel-toed boots and wear them on-site at all times

**Hours of Work**:M-F 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.

- Machine Operator: 1 year (required)
