**Job Overview**
Quality Assurance and Information Technology assists QA & IT management team in tasks and activities related to Quality Assurance, Accreditation, and Information Technology support

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- To assist in monitoring implementation of CARF standards in all worksites
- To assist worksites in archiving all documents from individuals who are already discharged and prepare for CARF accreditation.
- To assist in completing Quality Assurance checklist upon completion of house visits
- To assist in preparing the programs and organizational Statistics every year and reporting to upper management.
- To assist in entering new employees into the Bitrix24 communication platform
- To assist in creating chat groups in Btirxi24 communication platform
- To assist staff in working with Med-e-Care® Case Management system at each worksite (the software includes client’s profile, intake and assessment, behavioural and or medical history, individual service plan, daily logs, medication administration records, activities, and many more information).
- To assist in preparing various documents to meet CARF standards.
- To assist in creating and updating house binders based on the LMSCL standards.
- To train staff on CARF standards and required documentations.
- To assist with creating required templates.
- To assist in auditing the incident reports after being proofread and authorized by the case manager, fax to SW and filing them in the internal house binders.
- To assist in training and orienting new employees on IT systems currently implemented at LMSCL.
- Assist in maintaining CARF technology standards.
- To assist in liaising between the end users (worksites staff, case managers, and upper management) and the software developers’ representatives who have developed the IT systems in which LMSCL is using.
- Fulfill other tasks relevant to the job description that are not listed above but are assigned by the Quality Assurance Coordinator and QA and IT Manager.

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum bachelor’s degree
- Bachelor's or masters' degree in a relevant field from a recognized Canadian institute is an asset.
- Two years prior experience in the field of Quality Assurance in social services is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical skills to input and format data within database
- Basic knowledge of office administration principles
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks and projects.
- Working knowledge of organizational accreditation is necessary
- Working knowledge of accreditation standards in the field of social services is an asset
- Experience with CARF accreditation is an asset
- Experience in Quality Assurance of community living services and group homes is an asset
- Working knowledge of IT system implementation is necessary
- Prior experience of IT systems administration in community living and group homes is an asset

**Pay Rate**
- Rate is $25.00-$27.00 per hour after the probation, depending on the experience. Probation is 3 months and the rate is $2 less.
