Bench Jeweller

Responsibilities:

- Use hand tools and power tools to perform jewelry repair and customization tasks
- Inspect and assess the quality of gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals
- Collaborate with customers to understand their jewelry needs and preferences
- Design and create custom jewelry pieces based on customer specifications
- Repair damaged jewelry by soldering, resizing, and replacing stones
- Clean and polish jewelry to restore its shine and luster
- Keep accurate records of inventory, repairs, and customer orders

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a jeweler or in a related field is preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for jewelry repair and customization
- Knowledge of different types of gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

**Salary**: $16.29-$29.49 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thornhill, ON L3T 0C7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 5 years (required)
