**NOTICE OF VACANCY**
**POSITION: Library Page (Competition #2023-135)**
**LOCATION**:Tillsonburg Public Library
**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**:Temporary Part-time (approximately 12 months)
**REPORTING TO**: Community Librarian
**UNION AFFILIATION**:Non-Union
**WAGE RATE**:$16.55/hr.
***: Assists in maintaining a high level of library services to citizens in the catchment area of the branch by performing assigned tasks, especially shelving books and assisting with public service.
**Hours of work**: Up 12 hours per week.
Must be available to work day-time (Monday’s & Tuesday’s 9:00-1:00pm and Friday’s 1:00-5:00pm

**QUALIFICATIONS**:At least 14 years of age; general computer skills and knowledge of Windows software are essential; must be able to work effectively with the public and other staff members; other important assets are good communication and interpersonal skills, familiarity with public libraries, and creative thinking.
