Painter and Decorator

Mint Tiny House Company are hiring experienced Painters.

**Duties of this position include**:

- Spray painting interiors and exteriors of builds and MDF cabinetry.
- Prep work such as filling, sanding, caulking, masking etc.
- Touch up and paint quality control work on completed projects.
- Staining and varnishing
- Maintain painting equipment

**Essential skills**
- **Must be experienced in spray painting **using airless sprayers, and be familiar with setting up and maintaining spray paint guns.
- Must have a good overall knowledge of painting products
- A good eye for detail is very important.

**What do we supply / What tools do you need?**
- We supply all major tools such as paint guns etc
- We supply brushes, rollers and masking equipment (must be well maintained as usage is recorded)
- We supply ladders / aerial platforms
- You supply tools such as putty knives, drills, scrapers,

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Delta, BC v4g1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- painting: 5 years (preferred)
- spray painting: 5 years (preferred)
