As a Dietary and Environmental Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the food service and environmental services operations in a healthcare facility. Your main duties will include:

- Managing the daily operations of the dietary, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance departments
- Planning and coordinating menus in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents' needs
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Supervising and training staff on proper food preparation techniques and portion control
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to meet the nutritional needs of patients or residents
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering food supplies as needed
- Managing budgets and controlling costs
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, residents, and their families

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience working in a hospital, nursing home, or similar healthcare setting
- Ability to sanitize kitchen equipment and maintain a clean work environment

- Proficiency in meal preparation and food presentation techniques
- Time management skills to ensure timely meal service
- Knowledge of nutrition requirements for different patient populations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

**Salary**: $25.50-$33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
