Wheels for Wise is an affiliate of the Veteran Affairs independence program dedicated to assisting Veterans and others with transportation to medical appointments, including visits to doctors, physiotherapists, dentists, day surgeries, massages, and more. As the first organization of its kind in the Atlantic region, we are continually expanding to meet the needs of our clients. This presents a wonderful opportunity for individuals who are semi-retired or looking to support Veterans in their community, or looking for satisfying part-time work.

**We are currently looking for a driver/support worker in Nova Scotia**

What we are looking for:
MUST have clean drivers abstract

MUST pass vulnerable sector check

MUST be able to temporarily support someone's weight

Mileage Paid when utilizing personal vehicle

PREFERRED Location of driver is between Digby and Kingston, but not necessary.

Polite and Caring Demeanor

Smartphone required

**Experience with individuals with PTSD is an asset**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- On call
