Apprentice Carpenter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Carpenter Apprentice. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters to learn the trade and develop your skills in various aspects of carpentry.

**Duties**:

- Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Help with the installation and assembly of structures such as houses, sheds, doors, and molding
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various carpentry tasks
- Support in drywall installation, repair, and finishing
- Gain experience in construction estimating and material take-offs
- Collaborate with experienced carpenters to fabricate and assemble components

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of basic carpentry tools including hand tools and power tools
- Ability to plumb, level, and square structures during installation
- Proficiency in drywall work including hanging, taping, and finishing
- Strong aptitude for learning construction estimating practices
- Experience or interest in working as a maintenance person or in general construction

Pay: $17.41-$25.03 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

Work Location: On the road
