**The Opportunity**
- Employment Type:
- Temporary Full Time 1.0 FTE September 2025 or Return of Incumbent- Hours of Work:
- Sunday to Thursday 2300 -0700 hours
- Wages:
- $ 17.13 - $ 23.00Community Service Workers are required to provide physical, emotional, and/or behavioural support to persons with developmental disabilities in all areas of daily living, recreation/leisure activities and community inclusion. Client support includes personal care, lifting and transferring, behavioural intervention, assistance with meal preparation, and housekeeping activities.
- previous experience supporting persons with disabilities
- behavioural experience and ability to implement behavioural programs
- personal care experience and /or education
- previous community inclusion experience and knowledge of community resources
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- computer skills required
- ability to perform lifts and transfers per job requirements

**Requirements**:

- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
- A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
