**Job Overview**

Tuktu is seeking to onboard service providers/community helpers who wish to support seniors in their community for everyday services and companionship while earning extra income. The service providers are **independent sub-contractors** and are NOT on contract with OR employees of Tuktu Care. Tuktu provides you with a platform where you can showcase your talents and have flexibility with your schedule, rates, and kinds of services you wish to offer.

- Gardening & Yard work
- Snow Removal (winters)
- Companionship
- Virtual assistance.

Each service provider needs to undergo a **background verification check**. This is a **great opportunity to gain real Canadian experience **working with **senior community** in while earning to support your finances. Most of the service rates range from $20-$30 per hour**.**

**Responsibilities**

All the onboarded service providers will undergo **training** led by in-house experts to sensitize the service providers on the uniqueness/challenges of working with seniors and help in readiness for the service. The training will also help them build a stronger profile on Tuktu platform to **get more requests and earn more**.
- Perform the service request at the designated time with complete responsibility and sincerity.
- Always keep your schedule updated through the app.
- Understand the service expectations and treat the seniors with respect.
- Provide regular feedback on your service experience and be open to feedback received for your service.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information
- Participate in events organized by Tuktu. (You will be paid for your time) and training to enhance your skills.

**Qualifications**
- 18 years and older
- Driving license if choosing services like Rides and accompaniment.
- Some experience and comfort with pets if choosing dog walking service.
