s an Underwriting Clerk, YOU Will Be Responsible For*
- Processing new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations including correspondence.
- Locating documents for incoming mail.
- Filing documents as required.
- Answering phones in the absence of senior staff.
- Relieving switchboard operator as required.
- Assisting with mail clerk duties as required.
- Training other clerical staff.
- Printing various forms, including declaration pages, billing notices, cheques, and reports.
- Scanning new business.
- Setting up new clients.
- Performing related duties as required. *What We Need From YOU*
- Completion of Grade 12 education.
- Six months experience in an office.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform detailed work accurately.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
