Veterinary Technician

Vet-Champlain Inc is a Dieppe, NB-based companion animal veterinary practice. The Registered Veterinary Techinician or Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing patient care as well as assisting the clinical team with various tasks including patient assessment, treatment planning, medication administration, surgical care and hospital care.

This position is full time Monday - Friday and Saturday as required.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work with animals as well as humans
- Strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Must be comfortable working independently as well as within a team environment
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities in order to meet the needs of our patients.
- Experience with medical equipment including but not limited to ultrasound machines, radiology machine, surgical monitoring equipment.
