**Project Name: IAM Strategic Advisor**

**Location: 222 Jarvis Street, Toronto, Ontario, M7A 0B6**

The Strategic Advisor shall be responsible for the following:

- Work closely with Clients to lead critical sustainment projects, provide strategic advice on IAMP‘s Modernization plan and program, provide expert advice and leadership in the areas of: Organizational change management and Stakeholder management.
- May be required to assess the Client’s current business model, develop a clear understanding of the business and project requirements, identify business improvement opportunities as well as manage overall Client expectations and facilitate decision-making.
- May be required to update roadmaps which align with the Client’s strategic organizational goals by conducting/facilitating sound research, strategic reviews, business and risk analysis and implementation of systems and processes that enable sustainable growth.
- Other responsibilities may include identifying and analyzing issues and trends related to strategy, policy, organizational and business processes and ensuring that Clients receive the necessary assistance to implement any recommendations, if applicable to the business plan or project.

General skills:
1. Expert knowledge and 15+ years experience in Identity and Access Management technologies and services with a focus on PKI

2. Extensive experience leading the design, deployment and sustainment of Entrust PKI technology in large enterprise environments, including expertise and experience with multi-factor authentication services and

with the following products: Security Manager, Security Manager Proxy, TruePass, Administration Services for Entrust, IdentityGuard, and Gemalto HSM, Entrust GetAccess

3. Expertise and experience in Microsoft security products including the following: Active Directory (AD), AD Certificate Services (ADCS), AD Federation Services (ADFS)

4. Expertise in deploying Multi Factor Authentication with PKI on a variety of technologies including: smartcards, UBS tokens, and mobile devices

5. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

6. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills, including providing strategic advice to senior leaders
- **Additional Highly Desirable skills**:
1. Experience working with the Ontario government in the I&IT organization

2. Knowledge and experience with the policies and procedures of the Ontario government (i.e. business case development, project management and governance, stakeholder management and communication strategies)

3. Knowledge of the GO-PKI Certificate Policy and Certification Practice Statement

4. Experience with Oracle OIM for provisioning authentication credentials

5. Knowledge of IT security technologies particularly encryption and authentication technologies such as SSL

Provide vital project leadership and Subject Matter Expertise to critical PKI-related

projects on behalf of IAMP for the following:
2. Upgrade of the GO-PKI Certificate Authority to ensure continued support by the vendor

3. Upgrade of the Entrust PKI Pro solution for certificate recovery

4. Planning and strategy for the future migration to Entrust’s managed service mPKI

5. Upgrade and deployment of new Entrust ESP Client for the desktop to support secure single sign-on and PKI Pro

6. Proof(s)-of-concept, options analysis and business case to inform a possible migration from the current GO-PKI service to a PKI Managed Service model

7. Implementation of Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) to provide device certificates for OPS WiFi service

8. Deployment of Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) Disaster Recovery Environment

9. Improving PKI sustainment effectiveness to ensure reliability and reduce risk

10. Improve sustainment for all Entrust products including Security Manager and GetAccess.

11. Knowledge Transfer and documentation management
