Material Handler

We are looking for an experienced **Material Handler** for a client located in **Georgetown**. The company is one of the leading steel distributors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Using overhead cranes to load and unload steel on both trucks and cutting tables.
- Using tow motors to load and unload pallets and bundles of steel parts onto and into transport trucks.
- Using an angle grinder to break the edges of flame-cut steel parts.
- Chipping the slag\dross off plasma cut parts.
- Verifying cut quality and dimensions of cut parts using customer drawings and measuring tools.
- Organizing and packing cut parts for shipment.
- General cutting table maintenance and housekeeping in the shop.
- Ability to lift 50lbs, work in a loud dirty environment.

**Requirements**:

- Work experience required.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Timings**:Day Shift

**Pay Rate**: $18/hr to $20/hr (depending upon experience)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
